And, there will be factors that for some a leadership role could come early in a career; while for others it could come later in the career ladder. The critical issue to keep in mind is that the developmental stages of personal development and leadership are significantly noticeable decade by decade both physically and mentally. What is meant by this is that from birth; we have learning phases that lead to developmental achievements. From a career pathway perspective one could observe significant accomplishments from teen’s to 20’s, 30’s 40’s and so on; and, never ever does the process cease to exists until the day that you stop breathing. You see I have yet to learn that there is a drop dead date for success probabilities; as long as the desire, drive and the commitment to reach a victorious outcome is present; then the possibilities are always reachable goal. The concept of internalizing personal development issues in quest for leadership positioning or personal augmentation are factors that will require reflecting and redefining one’s chosen career path options.
As the fully functioning, and self-realised adult that you are, its time to take the control back and direct your own pathway of development. We all have one. But again, the destiny concept is really just a trip of the mind. Ever noticed that you never actually reach your destiny or destination? Where you are right now was your destiny of yesterday. Tomorrow’s destiny is a result of your thoughts and actions of today. And so on. You’ll never arrive. So, for now, forget about your destiny and pretend for a moment that you’ve arrived at your destiny, today. Right here, right now. Your point of attraction and power is in the here and now. You don’t need to do anything, except start to think and act like you’ve already arrived at the destination of your dream life. Easier said than done, I know, but you know it to be true don’t you?

Maybe you can bring something unique to your music from a faraway place. One thing that holds everybody back, musician or otherwise, is focusing on failure. Regret is a terrible thing. When you make a mistake, reflect on it. Think about what went wrong and how you can make it go better next time. This is especially important with your performances. When you have a bad show, you just want to go somewhere alone and stew about it. You might want to give the whole thing up and get an office job. But, it’s really important not to think about it that way. Whether you have a good performance or a bad performance, reflect. Think about what went well, and what went badly. What got the most audience response, and what could you maybe skip next time. This is all part of honing our performance skills. Every performer has a certain mental zone that he or she gets into before the big show. This helps them play at their best and always give a good performance. Even after years of performing experience, many people are nervous onstage. In interviews, professional musicians often say that this is the case. Everyone needs their own technique for relaxing before the show. If you’re nervous, you just won’t get your best results. For example, when you play, imagine that you are in your room practicing. In your room, you want to do your personal best for yourself. If you fudge a note, it’s YOU that has to listen to it. Imagine that you’re back there in your room, and do your best for yourself. Finally, technique isn’t everything. It’s just a tool that helps you realize the sounds you hear in your head. Remember that heart, energy and soul are just as important.
The following is a list of personal development areas to improve in your life. This is an high level list of areas to improve, and each element is equally important to improve your life. I recommend that you constantly work on each of those. This area is about your body. Developing good health means to eat properly, exercise and stretch your body. Having good health is probably the most important thing you can improve in your life. Start by going out and exercise every day, I recommend to do at least 15 minutes of it every day. After that, when you feel comfortable you can move to 30 minutes a day. It’s important that you work both on your strength (body building, crossfit) and in your endurance (jogging, bicycle, etc.). As long as you make the habit of working out each day, start to follow a diet. There are literally thousands of diet plans available. Became an expert on the topic and try different things to see what works for yourself.
